Breakfast Bites: Perfectly Balanced, 3-Ingredients – Try This.

It’s been a while since I’ve done a Breakfast Bites post – so here’s some fresh ideas to add into your morning rotation. If you haven’t already, go ahead and check out my last blog post on Workout Nutrition and why Citrulline Malate is an important supplement to add to your pre- and intra-workout stack.

Let’s get started.

Breakfast Bites: Perfectly Balanced, 3-Ingredients – Try This.

I’ve never been a conventional breakfast type. Cereal? Nah. Oatmeal? Nope. Pancakes and eggs? Maybe – with the right ingredients.

Most importantly, I’ve never been the conventional breakfast type, because I like efficiency in the morning. Not to rush anywhere – but to spend less time on the maintenance side of things (mentioned in the SUPP UP. Meal Planner) and more time on the experience side of things. If you’ve read the Meal Planner, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.

Here’s the recipe.

SUPP UP.’s Perfectly Balanced, 3-Ingredient Breakfast Recipe

Makes: 1 serving.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 17 minutes.

Total Time: 25

Items Needed: A small pot. A plate. A knife.

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs (medium or large)
  • 3 oatcakes
  • 50 grams of feta cheese
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Olive Oil (optional)

Directions:

  1. Bring some water to a boil and put your eggs in, boiling them for 17 minutes.
  2. Put 3 oat cakes on a plate.
  3. Measure out 50 grams of feta on a scale, evenly placing it over your oatcakes.
  4. When your eggs are boiled, let them sit in ice cold water, pulling all the heat out, then shell them.
  5. Cut the eggs in half, drizzling with olive oil and sprinkling salt and pepper on.

TIP: I’ll usually pre-load with a protein shake – personally, for me, the shake is 50 grams plus the macros in this recipe. Dial into your needs and you’ll be surprised at how full you end up.

Check out the macros (and a few more things to mention below).

Ok so, few things to mention…

I like this recipe for one main reason – balance. It has a near perfect balance of fats, carbs, and proteins. If you’ve read either of my SUPP UP. Nutrition Guides, you’ll know that the carbs are slow-releasing, the proteins have a high bio-availability, and the fats are healthy.

If you don’t know why any of this is important and you wanna learn about the benefits, pick up your copies of SUPP UP. No Bull, Whole Food Military Nutrition On The Go and SUPP UP. No Bull, Whole Food Military Nutrition At Home now.

Pair it with the SUPP UP. Meal Planner and learn how to tailor your meals to your goals.

When you buy a done-for-you meal plan, it only lasts until you reach your goal…but if you buy the SUPP UP. Meal Planner, it’ll teach you how to make your own for life, with practically zero learning curve. Think of it like taking the reigns on your nutrition – which is really just another way to take control of a part of  your life.
