It’s been a while since I’ve done a Breakfast Bites post – so here’s some fresh ideas to add into your morning rotation. I’ve never been a conventional breakfast type. Cereal? Nah. Oatmeal? Nope. Pancakes and eggs? Maybe – with the right ingredients.

Most importantly, I’ve never been the conventional breakfast type, because I like efficiency in the morning. Not to rush anywhere – but to spend less time on the maintenance side of things (mentioned in the SUPP UP. No Bull Meal Planner) and more time on the experience side of things. If you’ve read the Meal Planner, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.

Here’s the recipe.

Makes: 1 serving.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 17 minutes.

Total Time: 25

Items Needed: A small pot. A plate. A knife.

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs (medium or large)
  • 3 oatcakes
  • 50 grams of feta cheese
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Olive Oil (optional)

Directions:

  1. Bring some water to a boil and put your eggs in, boiling them for 17 minutes.
  2. Put 3 oat cakes on a plate.
  3. Measure out 50 grams of feta on a scale, evenly placing it over your oatcakes.
  4. When your eggs are boiled, let them sit in ice cold water, pulling all the heat out, then shell them.
  5. Cut the eggs in half, drizzling with olive oil and sprinkling salt and pepper on.

TIP: I’ll usually pre-load with a protein shake – personally, for me, the shake is 50 grams plus the macros in this recipe. Dial into your needs and you’ll be surprised at how full you end up.
